Mental Imagery, Visualisation Tools and TeamWork

I introduce the idea of the “algorithms studio,” a novel approach to integrating algorithm visualiza-tion technology into undergraduate courses on algorithms. I then present a five-year research project,funded by the National Science Foundation, for developing and empirically evaluating the idea.
